Often a contributing factor to workplace injuries and incidents is that the hazard and threat was identified by workers but that they did not take any action to minimise the risk "because it was not their job".
This workplace safety poster is designed to help employers encourage workers to take an active role in the safety and wellbeing of fellow workers and visitors to the site. To this end the poster outlines steps they should take if they see anything in the workplace that could cause harm to someone. The steps are intended to be suitable for all workplaces and all hazards and dangers in the workplace to expand upon.
The poster can be used as the focus of a toolbox/safety talk covering typical and atypical dangers in the workplace, engaging workers to understand the steps they would take in their particular workplace to protect one another. Dangers can be as low risk as slipping and tripping hazards, blocked emergency exits, inaccessable or uncharged fire extinguishers to weather alerts, armed intruders, damaged or missing machine guarding etc.
