This is one of a series of Workplace Safety Posters designed to engage younger workers who might be more attracted by graffiti or comic style graphics.
 
The hazard triangle in the circle symbol is intended to be similar to the anarchist symbol - but promotes the overthrow of the power of hazards which have power over health & safety due to the ignorance or neglect of workers or employers. This poster therefore restates the basics of Safety First: Be aware of all existing and potential HAZARDS; Assess the seriousness and likelihood or injury RISK; Minimise risk with appropriate CONTROLS; and, MONITOR controls - adjusting and improving as necessary.
 
The Safety First graphic and the Overthrow Hazards graphic are available on our Free Safety Poster Graphics page. Workplaces can incorporate these as part of a program around this poster, or use them independently to help workers stay engaged in the Safety First message.
